MISSION: Mature and equipped disciples will be a people seeking to make others mature and equipped disciples. When one is transformed by the gospel of grace and the whole counsel of God’s Word, there simply will be a uniting to the mission Christ has called His followers to join. That mission not only involves evangelizing others where we live, work and play but also in seeking to equip them to become mature and equipped followers of Christ who will go forth loving Christ, living for Christ and seeking to make disciples that do the same.
Matthew 28:18-19 - 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
