If You Struggle with Sin, Raise Your Hand
Topic: Romans Passage: Romans 7:13–7:25
"Why do you tremble at me alone? Tremble also at each other!...When the friend shows his inmost heart to his friend; the lover to his best beloved; when man does not vainly shrink from the eye of his Creator, loathsomely treasuring up the secret of his sin; then deem me a monster, for the symbol beneath which I have lived, and die!
I look around me, and, lo! on every visage (is) a Black Veil!"
- Though Saved by Jesus, though new creations, we are still messed up people.
- Jesus is for your sanctification as much as He is for your salvation.
Your struggle with sin will NOT be finished until you are in glory.
Be honest with one another about your struggles one to another:
“Guess who struggles against idolatry, taking the Lord’s Name in vain, Sabbath breaking, parent dishonoring, murder, adultery, theft, lying and covetousness? Come meet the believers at Christ Community Church! There is hope yet for us and for you!”
If you struggle with sin, raise your hand.
