God’s Covenant of Grace

The right response to God’s covenant of grace, is to renew our commitments to Him.

1. We see a general description of their covenant renewal.

2. We then see some specific examples of their covenant renewal.

We will walk in obedience to the law of God (29).

We will not forsake the House of God (vs. 39).

Legalism is an attempt to add anything to the finished work of Christ. It is to trust in anything other than Christ and His finished work for one’s standing before God. 

Historically, an antinomian is one who holds that under the gospel of grace the moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation.

What do you need to renew before God this day?

We will not forsake the House of God (vs. 39).
