John 15:18 – 16:4

1. The world hates us because we are not a part of the system.

2. The world hates us because the world hated and hates Jesus.

3. The world hates us because the world does not know God.

The world hates us because we are not a part of the system.

Kosmos - The evil fallen and falling world.
It is the fallen and falling evil system of unregenerate people controlled by Satan.
It is a system of lies, deception, wrong ideas, human ingenuity and human insight devoid of God. It is a system that raises itself against the true knowledge of God.

The world will hate us because the world hated and hates Jesus. (v. 20)

The world will hate us because the world does not know God. (vs. 21-24; 16:3)

Hebrews 10:2-8-29

The world offers us hatred. We offer Jesus.
