Our Relationships”

“ And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-38
One key commonality exists in all the relationships that Jesus had: they accomplished the Father’s business. We were created to be social creatures. Since Adam and Eve, God has used communities and relationships to further His Kingdom. As your love for God grows, you will view all other relationships in your life differently. You will be excited to take your place as a part of His bride, the Church, furthering her mission. Your family life will emulate His Triune oneness, proclaiming to all around His faithful and steadfast love. As the Shepherd seeks His sheep, so you will find your heart inclined towards the lost, bursting forth with the grace and hope you have found in Him.
Think over and commit to intentionally pursuing at least one person that the Lord has currently put in your life (family, friend, neighbor, co-worker, etc).
Dear Lord,
Help me pursue __________________________________________ for Your Kingdom advancement. Use me as You will. Open my heart and my life as I intentionally invest myself in the relationships around me.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
