From Puritans to Pentecostals: Modern Church History

The church since the Reformation has seen triumphs such as the great missionary movement of the 18-19th centuries and the rise of evangelicalism, but it has also had travails and tragedies such as the religious wars and Christian nationalism. Though is is not authoritative in our lives in the way that the Word of God is, the church's history is a storehouse of knowledge and wisdom for those who profess allegiance to Jesus Christ. Over the course of this ADS, we will complete our survey of church history by studying the modern era, c. the 16th century to the present.
