At Christ Community Church, we believe that our children are a gift from God and we are committed to care for them in a way that glorifies God and helps them to experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
The Nursery and Toddler ministries are overseen by the staff and Session of the church, coordinated by a volunteer Nursery Coordinator, and supported by a team of volunteers. Qualified persons skilled in working with young children are employed to assist the program as needed.
Children from birth through 3 years old usually participate in child care during Sunday morning worship and the ABF hour. The infant room is used for those younger than 18 months and the toddler room for those between 18 months and 3 years. Some flexibility is permitted in these age groupings to account for differences in individual maturity.
Parents should furnish diapers, bottles, etc. and be sure all are clearly labeled with a child's name. Parents are asked to sign in on the designated sign-in sheet anytime their child is utilizing the nursery. A notification system is used in the sanctuary to request the parents' presence if needed in the nursery or toddler room.
